OBJECT RELATIONS II: AMERICAN SCHOOL

This course will review the contributions of the influential North American and South American Object Relations theorists including Grotstein, Ogden Racker and Mitrani.
The course is intended as a survey that demonstrates both the diverse points of view and basic core themes in the literature. The theoretical aspects of the discussion will be enriched by clinical material to demonstrate the formulation of clinical applications from this perspective. Participants are expected to be prepared to discuss each
week’s readings and to offer relevant clinical material.
